Hungerford Bookshop’s Bespoke Book Subscription
As a book-lover there must be few greater pleasures than receiving a carefully chosen book, beautifully wrapped, delivered to your door each month.
Unlike many other book subscription services the books we choose are based on our knowledge of the recipient’s reading tastes, or genres they would like to explore further.
Your voucher to give will include a cup of coffee from the next door coffee shop and a chat with a bookseller in our lovely shop. We’ll ask (non daunting!) questions and make some notes to keep on file which will help us decide which book to send you once a month. This is an informal and friendly meeting and we often come armed with suggestions of books to read ourselves afterwards!
If the lucky recipient is not local we can conduct the bookshop appointment over zoom or by email.
We offer 6 month or 12 month hardback or fiction packages. You can also ask us about our book hampers.
Prices:
- 1 paperback a month for a year £160
- 1 paperback per month for 6 months £85
- 1 hardback a month for a year £240
